Limited Success Again, As Taliban Try for Influence in Punjab

On November 8, 2025, communication channels associated with the proscribed Tehreek -e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) group began disseminating a video featuring five armed individuals addressing the people of Punjab. A masked man identified himself in Punjabi as Muhammad Husnain Rizvi from Lahore, Punjab, adding he was connected to the banned far-right party Tehreek e Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), led by Saad Hussain Rizvi.
