A Taliban Commander responsible for the death of 15 policemen last week in a suicide bombing in Bannu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has been killed, the Deputy Inspector General of Police Sajjad Khan said, an intelligence-based operation following the Fateh Khel police post incident, eliminated 5 high-value targets within the last 24 hours.
Those killed include key target killer Hayatullah of the Zargul Group, Asad Yar and Naimatullah involved in the Choki Fateh Khel attack, senior commander Mansoor, and one unidentified affiliate. The operation has been named ‘Avenging the Police’s Martyr’s’.
The attack was claimed by the Hafiz Gul Bahadar lead Ittihadul Mujahideen.
