After the attack on Chowki Fatekhel, Bannu Police operations continue under the leadership of DIG Bannu Sajjad Khan Search operation completed in Domail, Akbar Ali Khan Kala and Sadakhel, areas declared clear Bannu: After the terrorist attack on Chowki Fatekhel, in the light of the instructions of DIG Bannu Region Sajjad Khan and under the supervision of DPO Bannu Yasir Afridi, Bannu District Police conducted a successful search operation in the areas of Domail, Akbar Ali Khan Kala and Sadakhel Wazir. SDPO Rural-II, SDPO Cantt, SDPO Sadr, QRF, RRF, armored vehicles, APCs and bomb disposal team participated in the operation. The police surrounded the area from all sides and conducted a complete search and completely cleared the area from the influence of terrorists. The operation aimed to establish a state writ in the area, clear the Bannu Link Road, stop the movement of terrorists and eliminate potential threats. The terrorists fled the area fearing confrontation before the police advanced. During the operation, a vehicle used by the terrorists was also recovered, which the terrorists had snatched from the citizens a few days ago, and other equipment was seized, while two key suspects who were doing reconnaissance for the terrorists were arrested on the spot. Several key hideouts of the terrorists were also demolished and the entire area was declared cleared. During the search and combing operation, 146 houses were searched and 17 suspects were arrested. 4 pistols with 46 cartridges, one shotgun, 2 SMG magazines with 54 cartridges and 2 M-4 magazines with 63 cartridges were recovered from the possession of the arrested persons. DIG Bannu Sajjad Khan said that Bannu Police will continue to take indiscriminate action against terrorists, miscreants and their facilitators. All available resources are being utilized to maintain law and order across the district, protect the lives and property of citizens and completely eliminate terrorist elements.
